How to specify a custom tube box

Choose the construction

Tube boxes are a cylindrical paper tube with a separate end cap or lid that lifts off — a different shape from the rectangular boxes elsewhere on this site. A ribbon can be added on some styles to dress up the closure.

Board and paper

Tubes are made from kraft paper, specialty fine art paper or corrugated board, depending on the strength and finish you need for your product.

Printing and finishing

Spot UV is the most common finish for tube boxes, and matt lamination, varnish and CMYK offset printing are widely available. Embossing/debossing and gloss lamination are options on selected styles, and CMYK plus Pantone spot colour matching keeps your brand colour consistent.

Inserts

A cardboard insert can be added on selected styles to hold your product centred inside the tube.
